    Hidden away in the forest near Derwent bridge are the results of one man's wood carving obsession. This is definitely worth stopping to see. Entry is $13, but when you see the scale of what has been carved by hand, with no power tools, from single pieces of wood... Quite amazing. There is also a roaring fire, couches, wine bar and cafe with soups and snacks. Well behaved kids are welcome but cameras, mobile phone cameras and naughty kids are not (and there are plenty of signs to point this out).
